As console ports go Doom3 & ROE are more enjoyable on classic xbox. That or play the original release on PC. One of the best weapons in Doom3 was the original flashlight which was great for killing zombies, smashing glass, clearing dead bodies, used to move objects or used to take your frustration out on something... No such enjoyment in this port as some idiot thought it would be clever to force people to use your fist regardless for flashlight related duties and injuries. Shooting in the dark was also part of Doom3's DNA. 🙄The new control config is a complete mess and should of been identical to the classic xbox version! Sound is also poor with player interaction sounds such as walking, jumping ect as well as all gun sounds are quiet compared to the over loud enviroment/background sounds! This should of been the version to end them all, instead it just annoys as alot of what makes the game epic in previous versions has been tampered with. Not forgetting the new Auto Save Ahhhh! 😣
