I am a new Bonanza owner and very new to the Garmin products. My 1991 F33 has recently come out of the shop with an updated panel - G500 with SV, Jepp charts, 2 430W, GDL 69A etc. I am going to download and update all the cards in about a week and I would like to figure this stuff out before I ask for help from the Avionics shop.
1. I will be downloading the terrain database for the G500 - does this mean I do not have to update the 430W terrain database?
2. This will be an initial load for everything - has anybody gone through the same thing that can give me some guidence? I will also be doing the first download for the 2 X 430W databases.
