i love sony ericsson. atm i have an N82 and tbh i hate it. thisphone is lud, great camera and NOT touchscreen. the onlytouch screen phone i like is the iphone because its very responsive. But this phone also has youtbe applications, wifi. I love it! cantwait to get itt! xx

RLAAMJR., 17 Jul 2009N86 has AMOLED 16 m colors, better camera and symbian phone. Innov8 is also cool. I think they... moresony can beat them even with low specs even if they use amold sony's lcd will beat them in real experience

K800i Sony Ericsson Theme

N86 has AMOLED 16 m colors, better camera and symbian phone. Innov8 is also cool. I think they're better than W995 but the great thing about W995 is the media go, more afforDABLE and looks really, really better than N86 and Innov8. Especially the red W995, it LOOKS AMAZINGLY ATTRACTIVE that if anybody sees you have it, they'll really gonna ask you about it and girls will even fall in love to guys who has it.',)

Right now I use a SE W810i and I would like to get the w995. I have compared the two phones and I see that they are basically the same except for the camera, the amount of memory, the screen size and the 3G network. What makes this phone twice as expensive as the w810i? Am I missing something?

Compared to phones like n97 , n95 8gb.this phone only excels in one area and that is the camera.with 8 mega pixels you couldn't ask for more but it doesn't mean its the ultimate phone on the market.it has a full and a small screen compared to the n95 8gb and with the same song playing on both the phones it goes unheard.for people looking for a good camera it's the best but otherwise it's not worth buying.

Have had the truffle brown voda uk k770i for 8 months but no peeling paint yet?? The w995 also has a 24 GBP 8gb memory card and 30GBP speaker in the box plus every connectivity but it will go down in price obviously..I am hammering mine with battery tests video tests and having that rubbing session with the sony ericsson front sticker with no problems..Others are having s/e probs but even if it does rub off its nothing to me personnelly..The sound is better thru the supplied earbuds than my cx300 i just bought but spent years with hpm 82 earbuds off w900i..I said earlier its been odd coming from years off symbian but when i totted up what i really use fone for the w995 was fine except yahoo go is still not ready cause w995 is still new out..Its nice to have a fone that other folk have in my area cause not many have smartfones..
I got mine on o2 payg,silver from carfone 330GBP plus 10 top up..I really only cost 260 GBP if it had no speaker or memory card..I am on 4th charge in 9 days with heavy usage..I did a 16 hr charge this time and now going thru charge/discharge cycle flattening then fully charging..

Well,I've had the black W995 for one week now and I must say that this phone is ONE HOT,HOT PHONE !
I upgraded from a K850 and although I was sad to loose the xenon flash-no problem whatsoever-The camera is just great for my purposes,and everything else about the phone has left me feeling totally satisfied with my purchase.Build quality is fantastic and sound quality is superb.For me it was worth every one of the 420 Euro I paid.
Before my purchase I was ready to buy the Omnia 8910 HD.I had a chance to try it through a friend and it was fine as long as it was indoors-the much hyped oled screen was almost a mirror outdoors.Take any S.E. phone outdoors and see the difference !
W995 may cost a bit more but as with all things in life,you get what you pay for !

Im still choosing between the Nokia N86, SE W995 and Samsung Jet. Im just taking everything into account in their comparison including price ratio. No doubt W995 is good but I just dont understand why its more expensive than other branded phones with the same or higher specs. And that's one less point for W995.
